About Kim Peek

 

 

 

 

Kim Peek is the former publisher of Ad Genius, a monthly publication for customer-focused media professionals. Peek is dedicated to helping media sales professionals increase profitability by delivering strategic marketing solutions to advertising customers.

A former Group Marketing Director at AT&T Media Services, Peek has trained hundreds of account managers, sales managers and marketing professionals in the fine art of written presentation development, the effective use of research, promotions legalities and the use of co-op to expand client budgets. 

            Kim is a firm believer in customer-focused selling. Before striking out on her own, she served customers as an AE, a GM and a marketing director. As Publisher of Ad Genius, she talked to nearly 100 retail experts each year, resulting in an impressive knowledge base on categories such as the marketing of furniture, grocery stores, health clubs, professional services, medical services, independent retail stores and many others. 

            Trained as a copywriter, Kim quickly realized that the real money was in sales. She got a job as an AE, took a few GM positions and then moved on to become a Group Marketing Director at AT&T Media Services. She credits this varied career path for her ability to provide solutions that help her media clients close sales.  


          Kim is a trainer for coLearn and mother to three daughters: Abby, Sarah and Katie. In her free time, she enjoys reading and writing children's stories.
